Overview
Snapdex is a directory of Snapchat users. It let's you easily discover new people on Snapchat that may be of interest to you. It does so by providing a searchable database of interesting people who use Snapchat, including their username, snapcode, some snaps, related accounts, and more, giving you a better glimpse of what's out there.
Snapdex is a collective index. Anyone can add and edit content on the site. Content on Snapdex is 100% user-generated. To add a user to Snapdex, start on the submission page. Our aim is to be a sort of Pokédex, but for Snapchat. Hence the name Snapdex, which is a blend of "Snapchat" and "index". Please note that Snapdex is not affiliated with Snapchat.

Snapdex was founded by Laurent Van Winckel and is part of Boot Ventures, a startup studio based in Brussels, Belgium.
We've made Snapdex because we missed a place to find interesting Snapchat users to follow. Snapchat is full of people who share interesting content which is usually exclusive to their Snapchat audience. Unfortunately it is quite hard to find these people, and that's where Snapdex comes in. We give you a glimpse of what's out there, so you can follow even more interesting people on Snapchat.

How is the popularity rank calculated?
We use multiple metrics to determine which users are the most popular ones on Snapchat. Unfortunately we can't give away our secret sauce but the best way to gain popularity is to have an active snapchat account where user engagement is high.
How can I edit something on a profile?
There's a subnavigation on every profile, which includes an Edit link to edit any information on a certain profile. The following elements can be added, edited or removed: description, tags, location, links, and snaps.
What if someone else edits my profile?
Everyone can contribute and make changes to any profile to make them better. That being said, harmful edits will be removed and reverted to their previous state. We at Snapdex monitor every edit on the site to prevent these kind of issues.
Why am I locked from making any edits?
If you try to edit more than 2 profiles in a window of 2 hours, you will automatically be locked from editing any further. This prevents vandalism. Just wait a few hours and you should be able to edit again. If you'd like unrestricted write access, contact us and let us know why!
